Farm & cowshed cleaning in Auckland & Northland
Milking still has to happen. The cleaning job needs to fit around it.
We wash agreed cowshed, yard, feed pad and farm building surfaces for dairy and rural properties. Tell us what needs cleaning, when the site is available and where the wash water goes; we’ll put together a practical scope.

Choose the areas that need attention
Dairy shed, yard and farm building washdown
A full farm clean means different things on different properties. You may need the milking platform and surrounds washed, a concrete yard cleared of built-up grime, or a farm shed exterior cleaned before a changeover.
We identify the exact surfaces, access and method in the quote. Hard concrete can be cleaned differently from cladding, painted walls, stainless steel and fittings.
- Milking platform surrounds
- Concrete yards and races
- Feed pads and hardstand areas
- Cowshed interior surfaces, as agreed
- Farm building exteriors
- Accessible equipment exteriors, if quoted
Make the scope useful to the farm
Surface washing and plant hygiene are different jobs
Washing the shed and yard is not the same as cleaning the internal milking plant. Your farm’s established procedures and processor requirements continue to govern milk-contact equipment, chemical use and verification.
What we can discuss
Building and hard-surface cleaning
Built-up dirt on suitable floors, yard concrete, platform surrounds and farm building surfaces can be tackled as agreed in the quote. We choose a method for the surface rather than water blasting every area at one setting.
Exterior equipment washing can be discussed if the equipment and any sensitive components are identified first.
Managed by the farm and specialists
Plant, electrical and compliance work
Internal milking system cleaning, milk-contact sanitising, electrical repairs, machinery servicing and a processor inspection are separate from a general shed wash.
Share your farm’s requirements before we plan the job. A wash alone cannot certify a site or guarantee an inspection outcome.
Work with the day’s routine
Plan around milking, stock and wash water
Tell us the milking times and when each area can be made available. A quick wash between milkings and a larger seasonal or changeover clean call for different time and access. We’ll discuss what is realistic for the available window.
Before washing, we need to know the water supply, drain layout and existing farm effluent pathway. Tell us about stock movements, slippery areas, equipment that must stay dry and any other contractors on site. Product choices and runoff arrangements should fit the farm’s documented requirements.

A few practical details save time
Send the farm address, photos of the shed and yard, the areas to be washed and the approximate size of any feed pad or hardstand.
Include milking times, available water, effluent drainage, product restrictions and the name of the person who will provide access on the day.
If it is a changeover or pre-inspection clean, give the date and the exact scope expected.
From enquiry to washdown
A clear plan for the farm
The farm manager knows the site. We use that information to agree on a safe, practical cleaning scope.
Map the areas
Send photos and identify the shed, yards, pads, building exteriors or equipment surfaces that need washing.
Check site requirements
We discuss access, timing, water, effluent routes, sensitive gear and any product restrictions before pricing.
Fit the farm routine
We confirm the agreed work window and areas. Stock, vehicles and loose items need to be moved clear of the wash zone.
More than the cowshed?
Include other farm buildings in the enquiry
If the farmhouse, accommodation, roof, gutters or concrete driveway also need attention, let us know. We can discuss those as separate exterior cleaning items while planning the farm visit.
A written scope helps you see what is included in the cowshed wash and what is priced separately.

Give us the date early
A farm changeover, shutdown or planned inspection may leave a short window for cleaning. Share the deadline and the areas that must be ready first.
We can help plan the external wash scope; the farm remains responsible for its operating procedures, plant hygiene and any inspection sign-off.
Farm and cowshed cleaning FAQs
Questions from farm managers
Do you clean cowsheds in Northland and rural Auckland?
Yes. Send the farm address, photos and the areas you want washed. We’ll confirm service availability and discuss access, water and timing before quoting.
Can you clean around our milking times?
Tell us the milking schedule and when each area can be made available. We’ll discuss what work fits that window, including whether a larger clean is better scheduled for a shutdown or changeover.
What parts of a dairy shed can be washed?
We can discuss the milking platform surrounds, suitable interior surfaces, concrete yard, races and exterior walls. The written quote will identify the agreed areas and any equipment or surfaces excluded.
Do you clean feed pads and farmyard concrete?
Yes, suitable hard surfaces such as feed pads and farmyard concrete can be assessed for cleaning. Tell us the area size, amount of build-up and where wash water drains.
Do you clean the internal milking plant or milk-contact equipment?
Internal plant cleaning and sanitising follow the farm’s own procedures and processor requirements. They are not included in a general building and hard-surface wash. Tell us about any equipment exteriors you want assessed separately.
Can you guarantee our shed will pass a dairy company inspection?
No exterior cleaning service can guarantee an inspection result. Share the areas you want cleaned and any requirements from your dairy company or assessor so the wash scope is clear. The farm operator remains responsible for its wider hygiene and compliance programme.
What happens to the wash water and effluent?
We need to understand the farm’s drains and effluent system before starting. The farm manager should identify where wash water is intended to go and any restrictions; we’ll discuss the work plan and product use for the agreed areas.
Can you wash other farm buildings or equipment?
We can assess farm building exteriors and suitable equipment exterior surfaces. Photos, surface details and information about electrics or sensitive components help us decide what can be quoted safely.

OUR SERVICES
Exterior cleaning services
From the roofline to the driveway, choose the areas that need attention.
House Washing
Green walls, dusty cladding and cobwebs under the eaves can make a well-kept home look tired. Our house washing clears the build-up with the exterior surface in mind.
Roof Washing & Treatments
Moss, mould and lichen can spread across a roof before you notice them from the ground. We assess the roof before discussing whether a wash or a gradual treatment is suitable.
Gutter & Spouting Cleaning
Overflowing gutters often start with leaves and debris you cannot see. We clear accessible sections and look at the areas where rainwater has been spilling over.
Commercial Building Wash
Shopfronts, offices and larger buildings collect grime where customers and staff see it every day. We plan each building wash around the surfaces, access and activity on site.
Driveway & Concrete Cleaning
Dirt, algae and traffic marks can dull the approach to a property. We clean suitable concrete driveways, paths and outdoor surfaces using a method that suits their condition.
Deck & Fence Cleaning
A shaded deck or green fence can make the whole outdoor area feel neglected. We clean decks and fences with the material and existing finish in mind.
